incredible… can you hear the pedestrian’s footsteps from so far away, and calculate he is a certain amount of meters from the base of a perceived large object that is denser at the bottom and tapers off?
can you feel the intensity of the light through its temperature and can discern the shadow from its slightly cooler feeling… and do you somehow know the laws of optics by nature?
how do you see this in your darkness?
Thanks for all your comments on our photos. Since this one is mine, I will reply to your questions here. Blindness is not as black and white (pun inteneded) as many people think. My visual acuity sits just across the arbitrary line defining legal blindness (20/200), but I see well enough to get around without a cane. If you have the time read our blog (http://blog.blindphotographers.org/) where we talk bout how our sight affects our photography. Take a look at the Project BlindSighted posts for lots of insight into this ussue. Feel free to email me with more questions.
